I have known Tänne for almost 15 years and I can say without reservation that she is the most talented clinician I have ever come across. I have relied on her professional expertise in childhood trauma over the years and frequently consult with her on difficult cases. She is warm, funny, approachable, and a joy to work with. Her practice is an invaluable resource for families in Portland and across Maine. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Our family met Tänne during a dark period. Immediately, we were drawn to her warm and playful nature. Although it’s hard for me to sum up Tänne in a little blurb, I can tell you she changed our lives. Tänne helped get our family back on track. Tänne helped our son to find himself again, which brought us all back together.

I met with 4 other therapists before I landed on Tänne. She’s the best. Plain and simple. My kid would ask everyday if it was a “Tänne Day”.

To temper our expectations, Tänne told us she was not a magician and that we all had to work hard to see changes. We did work hard, but I’m still pretty sure Tänne is a magician.
